Due to company growth, we are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Based in our Perth CBD head office, our ideal candidate thrives on working in a fast-paced, close knit environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Daily bank reconciliation for multiple entities
  • Monthly Credit card reconciliation
  • Intercompany reconciliation of receivable & payable and loan accounts
  • Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliation
  • Review, analyse and provide commentary on P&L and Balance sheet accounts
  • Maintaining and updating of prepayment schedules
  • Calculation and posting of monthly cost accruals
  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the finance department

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working in Accounts post grad
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Moderate Microsoft Excel Skills
  • Experience using Pronto (highly desirable)
  • Excellent attention to detail and good record keeping skills
  • Ability to work individually and in a team environment to meet deadlines
  • Proactive approach with a strong work ethic
  • Hardworking and self-motivated individual
  • Ability to complete tasks under pressure while maintaining confidentiality requirements
