Due to continued growth we are seeking experienced and motivated Project Coordinators to join our Projects team.

These roles will provide end to end project coordination of multiple SMP green and/or brownfields projects and are offered on a full time permanent basis, with time being split between site and head office.

Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Lead a team of trade and non-trade personnel to accomplish key deliverables
  • Ensure projects are completed in accordance with client, statutory, quality and safety requirements
  • Ensure all works are risk assessed prior to mobilisation and the appropriate controls, tools and resources are available, to safely and efficiently perform the works
  • Consolidation of project tracking against project schedule and budgets
  • Review completed site quality documentation and compile close out documentation to client
  • Identifying “smarter” ways to execute the works
  • Monitor procurement to ensure work crews have all plant, equipment and materials required to conduct works correctly, the first time
  • Build positive and professional relationships with clients, to ensure new and repeat business
  • Capture all variations and maximise claims in a professional manner, without adversely affecting the client relationship
  • Guide and mentor Supervisors in technical and construction practices to build overall productivity
  • General project management of minor projects
  • Estimating of minor projects

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Have minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role with strong technical knowledge working in a fixed plant mining environment
  • Mechanical Engineering qualification or trade qualification with relevant experience
  • Experience in completing CMS (Contract Management System) documentation for on-site personnel and equipment
  • Experience in a multidisciplinary environment
  • The ability to manage and execute end to end deliverables on multiple projects
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Project and Excel essential
  • Pronto and Primavera knowledge is advantageous
  • A current Australian Drivers Licence
  • The ability to pass ongoing pre-mobilisation Drug and Alcohol screening
  • A strong commitment to OH&S
  • Be a Perth resident and available to spend time on site as required
