Due to continued growth, we are seeking an Electrical Superintendent for ongoing fly-in-fly-out work throughout the Pilbara and Goldfields regions as well as some work in our head office located in Perth’s CBD.

The ideal candidate will be a team focused leader that enjoys a dynamic workplace. With operations throughout the Pilbara, Goldfields, Kimberley and the south west with a sound knowledge in executing fixed plant maintenance and capital works projects, complex electrical fault finding, testing and commissioning.

Responsibilities in this role include:

  • Reporting to the electrical operations manager, you will be proactive in leading and supporting a growing team of electrical supervisors and electricians to deliver the highest quality work
  • Maintain and grow Linkforce clients relationships
  • Train and mentor team members in various aspects of electrical maintenance
  • Assist to plan and schedule work and labour requirements
  • Inspect electrical installation work and then sign it off as an electrical nominee in the mines electrical log book
  • Create a positive team culture, monitor and motivate team members and address any performance issues where necessary
  • Monitor and arrange for equipment and assets to be ordered, maintained or replaced
  • Work with the various teams and departments within Linkforce to achieve desired outcomes
  • Review and approve applicants looking to join the Linkforce electrical team
  • Identify strategies and opportunities for continuous improvement in the business.

To be successful in this role you will have/be:

  • 5 or more years of leadership experience
  • A strong commitment to OH&S
  • A passion for building a positive team culture and a have a positive, can-do attitude
  • Sound understanding of AS/NZS 3000 requirements and a general understanding of QA/QC requirements in the resources industry
  • Unrestricted WA Electrical Licence - Grade A
  • Electrical Nominee certificate (highly desirable)
  • CPR/LVR (obtained within the last 12 months)
  • Provide First Aid (obtained in the last 3 years)
  • A current Australian Manual Drivers Licence (HR licence is desirable)
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol screen – ongoing
